BJ Cropmarks 1.1.3 Readme March 6, 1999 (c) Copyright Boris Jerenec ---------------------------------------------------------------- This document contains information about installation and use of BJ Cropmarks 1.1 Xtra for Freehand ---------------------------------------------------------------- What's new in 1.1.3: ------------------- - crop marks fill is set to none - input checking is removed because it caused some major problems to users who don't use point as decimal symbol - repeat last command actually repeats cropmarks with last settings without displaying dialog box Installation: ------------- Unzip cropmarks113.zip (it should contain two files: BJ-cropmarks.x32 and this readme.txt) and place BJ-cropmarks.x32 file in Xtras directory. Overwrite file if there already exists one with the same name. Running: -------- Run Freehand. You will find new options in Xtras menu and in Operations panel. Now draw a rectangle and leave it selected. Run Cropmarks 1.1 and dialog appears where you can write in your data. Press OK button and cropmarks around selected object should appear. Tips: ----- Version 1.1.3 allows negative parameters. Parameters in edit fields are in document units. BJ Cropmarks stores the last parameters in preferences file - the next time you run Cropmarks you'll get yours last parameters inserted in edit fields. Cropmarks (since v1.1.2) always create cropmarks in registration overprinted color. Cropmarks creates cropmarks around all selected elements. To create cropmarks only around bounding box group elements before using this Xtra. Disclaimer: ----------- You already know all this. I'm not responsible for anything that might happen after installing this software. I do not offer any support for this software. And so on. Special thanks to Dale Krabill for providing great examples. -------------- Version history: ---------------- 1.1.2: takes stroke width and line joins of selected element(s) into account 1.1: dialog box allows user to define length, width and length. available in two color versions: black or (updated) registration 1.0: first release, create marks of default color, width and length Contact address: ---------------- email: boris@jerenec.com www: http://www.jerenec.com/sw/ Boris Jerenec
